Marshall 1923 85th Anniversary 50w Head
This very special Marshall 1923 Amplifier has been made for Jim Marshall's 85th birthday.
Due for delivery to Andertons end of October 2008.
Based on the legendary JCM 2000 Dual Super Lead platform, the 1923's front panels are finished with a custom colour print design incorporating both the 85th Celebration logo and Union Jack flag.
Each amp is made using high grade Baltic birch plywood for superior sonic performance and durability.

In celebration of Dr Jim Marshall’s 85th birthday, Marshall Amplification are proud to announce the limited availability of the new 1923 head and 1923C combo.
The 1923 amplifier is based on the exact unit that was designed and presented to Mr Marshall at his birthday celebration in July 2008. Sporting 50W of all-valve Marshall power and a familiar feature set the 1923 offers two channels, each with 2 voicing options.
The 1923 has a unique colour Union Jack graphic and 85th celebration logo and is covered in the finest Levant vinyl and trimmed with gold piping for a high class finish.
Also included is a dust cover with custom designed artwork, a copy of the Father of Loud, a book covering the history of Jim Marshall the amplifiers and the factory plus a Product Completion Certificate showing each individual who has put their experience and skill into making the product.
