The original Roland CD-2 was a massive hit with our education customers as it was nice and chunky thus easy to use. The on-board DSP allowed pitch and tempo of played back tracks to be changed, perfect for practice. 'One-touch' recording, courtesy of the built in mic, and 'instant-replay' via the on-board speakers ensured the CD-2 quickly became a classroom favourite.
Now upgraded to version 2, it's not just the colour that's changed. The CD-2e records to SD cards, not CF as before. Otherwise, all the useful features seen previously are still there wrapped up in a little package of 'user-friendlyness'...!

Take it Anywhere
Portability is a key advantage of the CD-2e. Weighing in at less than 1.1 kg (2 lbs 6 oz), it’s lighter than most laptop computers. It’s also slim and trim, at less than 50 mm (2 inches) thick. You can use the CD-2e anywhere since it can run off six AA batteries; for those who prefer to plug in, an AC adaptor is supplied. (To enable recording to and playback from CD-R/RW media, use of the supplied AC adaptor is required.)
Ideal for Music Study
