Steinberg's Sequel is considered by some to be their answer to Apple's Garage Band. The product includes thousands of loops, taken from a broad range of genres, so even a non-musician can start to put tracks together straight away. There over 600 on board sounds including a GM set and over 60 drum kits. There are even Audio Track Presets for recording new audio tracks including the Sequel guitar amp simulator. All in all, this software makes composition and arrangement simple even for the novice musician.
